Analysis on IBPS PO question paper 2011 - Question Paper Format


On 18 th of September IBPS PO exam has been conducted and around 14 lakhs of students took this exam. Noe lets have the analysis on IBPS PO question paper 2011.
IBPS PO exam conducted in 2 slots morning and afternoon,see the different in questions papers for 2 slots below listed clearly.For every wrong answer 0.25 marks will be reduced from your actual score.

Number of questions(objective): 250 questions
Number of sections: 5 Sections
Maximum Marks for Objective questions: 225 marks
Time for Objective questions : 150 minutes

Descriptive/subjective Type:
Number of questions: 3 questions
Time for Descriptive Qsns : 1hour
Maximum Marks: 25 marks
Now let’s see the section wise Questions and difficulty of questions.
1.When you compare with previous exams of any bank exam,it was about 80% was similar.
2.In Quantitative aptitude section ,data interpretation and Simplifications played major role
3.Data interpretation topic covered for 20 marks in IBPS PO question paper 2011.
4.Simplification questions for 10 marks.
5.Bar chart and pie charts covered for 10 marks
6.From Only table chart,asked 10 questions
7.Individually ,percentages for 3 marks,Probability for 5 marks and simple equation for 5 marks.
8. Overall y, English section was difficult
9.Reading comprehensive passages are very big and had about 700 to 800 words in each passage .
10.15 questions covered in reading comprehensive.
11.5 questions from the synommyns
12.Paragraph with blank spaces,have to choose from the given multiple options,really confused in this exam
13.Computer knowledge section was very easy,asked basics of computer and it’s applications
14.General awareness,it’s easy for some students and also tough for some students,Because of it’s depends on their own knowledge of world
15.In general awareness 17 questions came from banking knowledge.
16.Reasoning,it’s a time taken section,critical and non verbal reasoning topics covered 20 questions
17.Deductions questions came for 5 marks.
